U of M Local Foods Task Force

As the local foods movement heats up nationwide, the University of Minnesota serves as a willing partner and leader in strengthening local foods production and consumption across our state. Many people on all the University campuses, at our Research and Outreach Centers and in regional Extension offices are engaging in exciting and creative work around local foods.

It's time for us all to learn from and meet one another! Please join us on Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for a kick-off event that will launch the beginning of a University of Minnesota Systemwide Task Force on Local Foods.
